Meeting 28 August, 2023
The Community Council organised a meeting of Kenmore business owners and managers on 28 August.
We were fortunate to have the presence of local MSP John Swinney and to have his views on the impact of the Taymouth Castle development and suggestions for opportunities for local businesses.
It was agreed that by working together all the companies could benefit from a more collaborative approach.
Opportunities included the possible development and marketing of a 'Kenmore' brand, and collective approaches to common problems such as staffing and affordable accommodation.
It was agreed that the Council should act as a catalyst and kick-start a process to take things forward. A further and more formal meeting will be organised.
The Council is very grateful to all the owners and managers who attended and gave their views and support.
