LOCAL RESILIENCE PLAN & EMERGENCY SERVICES
The Community Council has received a grant of £11k to help support those within our area that need help whilst in self-isolation. The only condition is that it cannot be used to support businesses.
If you are or know someone in self-isolation and in need of help, please let us know how we can help.
If you have any idea on how best to spend and prioritise let us know.
If you have any ideas or organisational expertise on how to help let us know. e.g. can organise a local street support group.

CORONA VIRUS SUPPORT IN ABERFELDY AREA
Tay Valley Timebank and The Birks Cinema Trust are coordinating support, in the PH15 postcode area, for people who will be self-isolating over the next few months due to the Corona virus outbreak. They are offering to help with shopping prescription collection etc.

BREADALBANE COMMUNITY LARDER - DROP IN & HOME DELIVERY
THE COMMUNITY LARDER HAS PARTNERED WITH THE CO-OP AS THEIR FOOD SHARE CHARITY PARTNER AND OTHER FOOD RETAILERS WILL DONATE GOODS WHICH THEY ARE UNABLE TO SELL OR KEEP TILL THE NEXT DAY.
HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE ABLE TO PURCHASE ONE OR TWO EXTRA ITEMS EACH TIME YOU SHOP AND DONATE THEM TO THE LARDER THEY WOULD BE GRATEFULLY RECEIVED AND ENABLE US TO BUILD UP A STOCK OF GOODS.
CASH DONATIONS ARE ALSO WELCOME!
THE PROJECT WILL OPERATE OUT OF THE 'BREATHE LOUNGE' (THE OLD LIBRARY BUILDING AT THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS) AND OFFERS BOTH A DROP-IN AND HOME DELIVERY SERVICE.
